Luca Devoti (born January 2, 1963 in Verona ) is a former Italian sailor .
successes
Luca Devoti took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta in 1996 and in Sydney in 2000 in the Finn-Dinghy boat class . In 1996 he did not get beyond 16th place in his Olympic debut. Four years later he finished the regatta with 46 points in second place behind Iain Percy and ahead of Fredrik Lööf and thus won the silver medal. In 1997 he won silver at the World Championships in Gdansk . In the same year he succeeded in winning the title at the European Championships in Split .
In 2007 he was the skipper of +39 Challenge at the 32nd America's Cup .
