The Lucan River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
The river has its source on the western slopes of the Collingwood Range , which lies on the northern edge of the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park . From there it flows south along the mountains and flows into the Franklin River about 1.5 km west of Junction Peak .
