Lucas Norbert Gleixner von Rosenbrunn (* 1569 ; † March 17, 1641 ) was a councilor for the city of Jihlava and a Moravian pewter caster .

Life

Lucas Norbert Gleixner comes from a pewter and bell foundry family . The name "Gleixner" was mentioned as early as 1373 in the city of Iglau. Little is known about his childhood and education. A pewter bowl, one of his most important works, was exhibited in the Dresden Museum of Applied Arts until the Second World War . In 1637, Lucas Norbert Gleixner, then a councilor for the city of Iglau, was raised to the nobility . His tombstone is in the St. Jakobskirche in Iglau.
