Lucas Sebastián Haedo (born April 18, 1983 in Chascomús , Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine cyclist . He is a younger brother of Juan José Haedo .

Career

In 2004 Lucas Sebastian Haedo won a stage at the Giro della Provincia di Cosenza , and in 2005 he was twice successful at the Vuelta a León . In 2006 he won the fourth stage of the Volta a Galicia . In the 2007 season he drove temporarily for the Rock Racing Team and won a stage at the International Cycling Classic . From 2008 to 2009 Haedo drove for the American Continental Team Colavita / Sutter Home-Cooking Light , where he won two parts of the Vuelta a Mendoza at the beginning of the season and came second in the North American ranking. From 2010 to 2012 the Argentine was a member of the Danish team Saxo Bank , where he drove alongside his brother Juan José.

In 2010 and 2011 Haedo started at the Giro d'Italia and finished 128th in both years. In 2013 he was 139th in the overall ranking of the Vuelta a España . Otherwise, he mainly competes in races in South and North America .
