Luciano Alves Barbosa (born December 30, 1976 in Rio Grande , † June 21, 2008 in São Paulo ) was a Brazilian squash player .

Career

Luciano Barbosa played on the PSA World Tour from 1999 . He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 120 in February 2004. At Pan-American Games he won silver with the Brazilian team in Santo Domingo in 2003 and bronze in 2007 in Rio de Janeiro .

He died on June 21, 2008 of complications from a stroke .
