Luciano Cabrera , full name Luciano Cabrera Cabrera , (born May 12, 1982 in Young ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall midfielder Cabrera was at the beginning of his career from 2001 to mid-2005 in the ranks of the Montevideo- based club Huracán Buceo . In the 2005/06 season he played for Club Atlético Basáñez . In the Apertura 2006 he belonged to the Uruguay Montevideo FC . From there he moved to Club Sportivo Cerrito from the beginning of 2007 to the end of July 2010 . With the Montevideans he ran in the Clausura 2007 in 13 games of the Primera División and scored one goal. This was followed by 16 or 17 further premier league appearances for the club in the 2009/10 season, depending on the sources. After he had joined the Club Atlético Rentistas in January 2011 , he was there in the Clausura 2011 in nine games of the Segunda División and scored two goals. In the 2011/12 season he played another six first division matches (no goal) for the club. From mid-2013 he continued his career in Argentina at Gimnasia y Tiro and completed nine games (one goal) in Torneo Argentino A and one game (no goal) in the Copa Argentina . In January 2014 he was signed by the Ecuadorian club SD Aucas . From the end of August 2014, he worked for the Uruguayan second division club Villa Teresa . There he played nine second division matches in the 2014/15 season without a personal goal.
