Luciano De Nardis

Livio Carloni (born October 25, 1865 in Forlì ; † June 27, 1964 ibid) worked under the pseudonym Luciano De Nardis as an Italian poet and painter of Futurism .

Life

De Nardis made friends with the musician Francesco Balilla Pratella early on, for whose pieces he wrote extensive texts. In 1916 he was first mentioned as a representative of the "Parolibere" ("Free Words") and also took part in several futuristic exhibitions. A contact with Giacomo Balla in 1916 inspired him to produce futuristic toys. For many years he worked as an editor for the cultural magazine La Pié. Nothing of his paintings remained.
