Luciano André Pagliarini Mendoca (born April 18, 1978 in Arapongas , Paraná , Brazil ) is a Brazilian cyclist .

Career

Pagliarini became a professional at Lampre in 2001 after having been a stagiaire there the previous year . He celebrated his first victories in 2003 at the Tour de Langkawi . He won three stages in a row. In the same year he also won the Clásica de Almería . In 2004 the sprinter again won two stages in the Tour de Langkawi and one in the Tour of Murcia . Then he got a contract with the Italian ProTour team Liquigas-Bianchi . He took part in the Tour de France for the second time , but did not finish it again. He has been driving for the Spanish Saunier Duval-Prodir team since 2006 .

At the end of the 2010 season he ended his career as an active professional cyclist.
