Lucie Hochmann , b. Záleská , (born July 7, 1991 in Podbořany ) is a Czech cyclist who is active on track and road . Along with Jarmila Machačová, she is the dominant cyclist in her country in the 2010s.
Athletic career
In 2008 Lucie Hochmann became Junior European Champion in scratch and won the bronze medal in the single pursuit . The following year, she was vice world champion in the junior team in scratch. She also became Czech junior champion in the individual time trial on the road.
Hochmann has been competing in the elite category since 2011 and won ten national titles in various disciplines on the track by 2015. Internationally, she won bronze medals in Scratch and Omnium in the U23 category at the 2013 UEC European Rail Championships . Since 2015 she has been driving more and more on the road and was fifth in the Czech championships in road racing and sixth in the individual time trial. In 2017 she was runner-up in the road race. By 2018 she had won 19 national titles on the track.
