Lucio Cáceres

Lucio Cáceres Behrens (born September 14, 1949 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan politician .

The Partido Colorado member Cáceres was from March 1, 1995 to July 15, 2004 Minister of Transport of Uruguay . He was replaced in this position by Gabriel Gurméndez . In addition, he had from February 15, 2000 to March 2, 2000 and again from September 15, 2003 to February 14, 2005 a mandate as a member of the Department of Montevideo in the Cámara de Representantes . Furthermore, he ran unsuccessfully for the office of Intendente in his home department.
