Lucky Twice
Lucky Twice is a Swedish girl pop duo.
Band history
Sofie Larsson already had an appearance in one of the children's roles in the musical Kristina från Duvemåla in her hometown Malmö at the age of six . At the age of twelve, she had her first success at Lilla Melodifestivalen in 2002, where she won the Swedish preliminary decision for the Melodi Grand Prix Nordic (forerunner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest ) with the song Superduperkillen . Although she was only sixth in the Northern European final, she had a hit in the Swedish charts with Sommarparty and her album Superduper was also well placed. In 2005 she also had a minor role in the teenage film Krama mig .
In 2006, she and her friend Hannah Reynold formed the duo "Lucky Twice". Her first single Lucky came from Jonas von der Burg , Niclas von der Burg and Anoo Bhagavan , who had already successfully written for the singer in September . The song initially went unnoticed in their homeland, but was then released in other European countries. As a result, the dance-pop song became a great success in Spain, it reached number 1 in the Lot 40 Prinicipales and was awarded double platinum .
This is how they became aware of the two in other countries. They hit the charts in Finland and Sweden, and in Germany the song was chosen as the theme song for the docu-soap Gülcan's dream wedding around the wedding of the presenter Gülcan Kamps .
