Lucy Falk

Lucy Falk (* 1889 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † 1968 ) was a German teacher. She wrote books for young people and witnessed the first post-war years in Königsberg / Kaliningrad.

Life

She was a middle school teacher and employee at the Reichsender Königsberg . After the conquest of Königsberg by the Red Army , she stayed in the destroyed city. In letters she reported on the lives of the people who remained. The first report is dated August 7, 1945, four months after Otto Lasch's surrender . In March 1948 she was allowed to leave.
