Ludger Fischer

Ludger Fischer (born October 30, 1957 in Essen ) is a German building historian , architecture critic and political scientist .

In 1986 Fischer received his doctorate with the text "On the monument value of so-called functional buildings" . In his post-doctoral thesis published in 2010, he examined the “attempts at architectural preservation” of the architect Bodo Ebhardt (1865–1945). Since 1995, his work as an architecture critic has focused on current buildings in the Netherlands and Belgium. He was a member of the European Commission's “Advisory Group on the Food Chain” , a member of the stakeholder advisory body at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), as well as other EU bodies on food safety issues.

On the basis of his work as a political advisor in Brussels , he has been working on the chemical and physical processes of cooking since 2001. Fischer lives in Brussels.
