Ludger Pickenäcker (born February 8, 1965 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The striker Ludger Pickenäcker started in the youth of Eintracht Datteln and moved to SpVgg Erkenschwick as an A-youth . From 1984 he played for Germania Datteln and failed two years later during a trial session at VfL Bochum . In 1987 Pickenäcker went to Preußen Münster in the third-class Oberliga Westfalen . With the Prussians he was champion in 1988 and 1989 respectively. While the team failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1988 against Hertha BSC and Eintracht Braunschweig , the Münster team prevailed in the second attempt and rose.

In the 2nd Bundesliga, Pickenäcker only made five missions in which he did not score. He then moved to the upper division ASC Schöppingen in 1990 and immediately became runner-up behind SC Verl with his new team . Pickenäcker was also the league's top scorer with 18 goals . After ASC Schöppingen withdrew from the league in 1992, Pickenäcker moved to league rivals VfL Gevelsberg for a year before moving to SpVgg Erkenschwick in 1993. From 1994 he let his career end with Davaria Davensberg and his hometown club Eintracht Datteln .

Ludger Pickenäcker is married, has two sons and lives in Lüdinghausen . He studied dentistry and runs a dental practice in Olfen .
