Ludmilla of Arseniev

Ludmilla von Arseniew (* 1939 in Vilnius , Lithuania ) is a German painter of Russian origin.

Ludmilla von Arseniev is the great niece of Nikolaus von Arseniev . She studied art history , Romance studies and philosophy at the universities in Saarbrücken , Hamburg , Cologne and Düsseldorf . From 1960 to 1965 she studied at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Günter Grote . From 1969 to 1971 she was a research assistant for art education at the Pedagogical University of Rhineland in Neuss. From 1972 to 2004 she held a professorship at the Institute for Art Educators in Münster at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf, and since 1986 at the Art Academy in Münster . She also took part in many group and solo exhibitions. Ludmilla von Arseniew lives in Düsseldorf .
