Ludolf Walter von Brabeck

Ludolf Walter von Brabeck (* 1623 ; † January 27, 1699 ) was cathedral cantor in Hildesheim and canon in Münster and Paderborn .

Life

Origin and family

Ludolf Walter von Brabeck came from the Westphalian nobility of Brabeck and was the son of Westhoff von Brabeck (1535-1617) and his wife Anna Ursula von Landsberg zu Erwitte . His brother Jobst Edmund (1619–1702) was prince bishop in Hildesheim , Johann Ernst (1625–1690) canon in Münster and Engelbert (1621–1693) canon in Hildesheim.

Act

After the death of canons Johann Bernhard von Westerholt Ludolf Walter was born on October 16, 1664 for the Münstersche Dompräbende presented and with the seizure on November 5 on gender Brabeck, Landsberg, Ruispe and Erfte been sworn . After his resignation , the prebend went to Johann Caspar von Letmathe . Ludolf Walter was also canon in Paderborn and cathedral cantor in Hildesheim. It was here that he was raised in 1656.
