Ludvík Aust (born August 18, 1863 in Jungbunzlau , Bohemia , † August 25, 1924 in Schlan ) was an Austrian shoemaker journeyman , district health insurance administrator and politician of the Czechoslovak Social Democratic Party of Workers . He was a member of the Austrian House of Representatives .

Life

Aust was born the son of the shoemaker Jan Aust. He attended elementary school and four classes of secondary school in Jungbunzlau before completing an apprenticeship as a shoemaker and subsequently working as a journeyman shoemaker in Jungbunzlau. In 1898 Aust moved to Kladno, where from 1900 he worked as the accounting officer of the Kladno district health insurance fund. In 1907 he took over the function of administrator, after 1918 he was director of the Kladno district health insurance fund. From 1920 he also acted as director of the district health insurance fund in Schlan. Aust was involved in various workers' associations and organizations and was chairman of the building cooperative in Kladno. Politically, he was active as a leading official of the Czech Social Democrats in Kladno, where he several times for political activities criminal record was. He ran for the Reichsrat election in 1907 in the electoral district of Bohemia 19 , where he was able to prevail in the first ballot with around 56% of the vote. In the 1911 Reichsrat election, Aust was also able to successfully defend his mandate with around 55% in the first ballot. He was a member of the House of Representatives between June 17, 1907 and November 12, 1918 and was a member of the Club of Bohemian Social Democrats, which from November 1916 cooperated with other parties in the Czech Union. In addition, Aust was a member of the Czechoslovak Revolutionary National Assembly.
