Ludwig Albrecht Gebhardi

Ludwig Albrecht Gebhardi (born April 13, 1735 in Lüneburg ; † October 26, 1802 ) was a German historian and librarian.

Life

Ludwig Albrecht Gebhardi was the son of the historian and genealogist Johann Ludwig Levin Gebhardi (1699–1764). He studied at the Knight Academy Lüneburg (Gymnasium illustrious) and then at the University of Göttingen .

In 1765 he became the third teacher at the Knight Academy in Lüneburg. In 1785 he was elected a member of the Göttingen Academy of Sciences . In 1787 he received the title of royal. Great Britain-Hanoverian Council. In 1799 he became a librarian, archivist and court historian in Hanover.
