Ludwig Breit

Ludwig Breit (* 1899 ; † 1992 ) was a German engineer and entrepreneur.

Career

Breit comes from a family with a long tradition in glass production. Before the Second World War he worked in the Gablonz glass and jewelry industry. After expropriation and expulsion, he came to Schwäbisch Gmünd , where he rebuilt the family's Wiesenthalhütte from 1946 . Under his leadership it developed into one of the leading glassworks in Germany.
