Ludwig Georg von Lüpke

Ludwig Georg von Lüpke (born March 25, 1795 in Bilm ; † August 4, 1865 in Hanover ) was a German lawyer and director of the state lottery of the Kingdom of Hanover .

Life

Ludwig Georg von Lüpke came from an old patrician family in Hanover who were wealthy in Bilm and Everloh , but not ennobled. His father was the patricius and landowner Johann Georg von Lüpke (1748–1821), his mother Lucia Juliane Marie nee. Kitzow (also: Kizou, 1760-1815). After attending the Ratsgymnasium in Hanover, Lüpke began studying law at the University of Göttingen in the fall of 1813 , where he became a member of the Corps Hannovera Göttingen . After completing his studies in 1817, he was employed as an official assessor in the administration of the kingdom in Springe , Koldingen and Hanover from 1822 and was appointed secret secretary in Hanover in 1826. In 1830 he became a member of the high school college, chancellery and chief adviser for clergy and teaching matters. In 1839 he was appointed court advisor in the Ministry of Culture. From 1845 until his retirement in 1857, Ludwig Georg von Lüpke was director of the state lottery in Hanover.

He was married to Carolina Lisette Dieckmann from Springe since 1823. The marriage resulted in two sons and two daughters.
