Ludwig Hagemann (historian)
Ludwig Hagemann (born November 30, 1859 in Frohnhausen / Westphalia; † November 18, 1941 in Niedermarsberg ) was a German Catholic pastor and local historian.
He was a pastor in the old town of Warburg. Then he worked as provost and dean in the Westphalian Niedermarsberg . He was the author of writings on Warburg and Marsberg history. As provost, he began collecting for a local history museum (now the local history museum of the city of Marsberg ) in the 1930s , which he then founded in 1935. It remains unclear whether this year of foundation is synonymous with the opening year.
