Ludwig Hagspiel

Ludwig Hagspiel (born May 17, 1922 in Lingenau ; † December 8, 2012 in Hittisau ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. Hagspiel was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament from 1969 to 1970 and a member of the Austrian National Council from 1970 to 1983 .

Life

After elementary school, Hagspiel attended the agricultural vocational school and various specialist courses and subsequently worked as a farmer . In 1950 he became a member of the municipal council of Hittisau and represented the ÖVP in the Vorarlberg state parliament between 1969 and 1970 and in the national council from March 31, 1970 to May 18, 1983. Hagspiel was also active as district chairman of the farmers' union and chairman of the ÖVP Hittisau, acted as chamber councilor and vice-president of the Vorarlberg Chamber of Agriculture and was a member of the administrative commission of the dairy fund in Vienna from 1974 to 1976. In addition, from 1976 on he was a member of the administrative committee of the Grain Fund and chairman of the social insurance institute for farmers in the Vorarlberg regional office.
