Ludwig Koerbitz

Christian Ludwig Körbitz (born October 9, 1809 in Kulmbach ; † July 15, 1882 in Berneck ) was a German politician .

Life

Born the son of a magistrate, Körbitz studied pharmacy in Erlangen after attending the Kulmbach high school . During his studies in 1827 he became a member of the Arminia fraternity in Erlangen . After his studies he became a pharmacist in Berneck and was mayor there from 1846 to 1857 . From 1853 to 1855 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies .

Honors

The Ludwigsbrunnen in Bad Berneck is named after him.
