Ludwig Kersandt

Ludwig Kersandt (born June 24, 1821 in Wehlau , † November 2, 1892 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was a German doctor and medical officer.

Life

Kersandt attended the old town high school in Königsberg (Prussia) . Immediately after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Prussian Army . He studied medicine at the Albertus University in Königsberg and became a member of the Corps Masovia in the winter semester of 1842/43 . In 1846 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD . As a medical officer , he took part in the Franco-German War in 1870 . Until 1891 he was a lecturer in the Prussian Ministry of Culture . For many years he was President of the Higher Military Study Commission . The Crown of Prussia appointed him real. Go Senior Medical Council . He lived in Frankfurt (Oder). He was buried in the scholarly cemetery (Königsberg) .
