Ludwig Kreutzer

Ludwig Kreutzer (born February 12, 1833 in Dömitz , † April 9, 1902 in Neukalen ) was a German author.

Ludwig Kreutzer was a son of the schoolmaster and organist Fritz Kreutzer and his wife Caroline, nee. Rodass. He did a commercial apprenticeship in Boizenburg / Elbe and then attended the teachers' seminar in Ludwigslust for two years . In 1857 Kreutzer became a teacher in Parchim , in 1860 in Ludwigslust and in 1868 in Zehlendorf near Güstrow. He was married to Johanna Hahn. When he went blind in 1895, he moved to Neukalen to live with his daughter.

From 1864 onwards, Kreutzer published the “Grand Ducal Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Mecklenburg-Strelitz Calendar”, generally just called the “Voss and Haaskalender” at Hinstorff .
