Rudolf Eckart

Rudolf Eckart (born December 1, 1861 in Schönebeck , † January 12, 1922 in Nörten-Hardenberg ) was a German philologist and folklorist .

Rudolf Eckart was a son of the writer Theodor Eckart (1828-1893). He attended high schools in Nordhausen and Holzminden . Eckart studied theology and philosophy in Göttingen and Greifswald . In 1893 he took over the management of the orphanage in Nörten.
