Ludwig Link

Ludwig Link (born November 27, 1900 in Mombach ( Grand Duchy of Hesse ), † January 15, 1960 in Mainz ) was a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

From April 1, 1920 to March 31, 1925 he studied at the seminary in Mainz . After being ordained a priest on March 28, 1925 in Mainz , he was chaplain in Bensheim from April 1925 to 1928 . From April 16, 1928 to November 30, 1928, Ludwig Maria Hugo was secretary . From December 1, 1928 to November 4, 1935 he was an assistant at the seminary in Mainz. From November 1935 to 1939 he studied at the University of Münster , where he received his doctorate on April 28, 1939 . From May 1939 to April 1944 he was sub-rain at the Mainz seminary. From April 15, 1944 to April 14, 1945 he lectured at the seminary in Mainz. On April 15, 1945, he was appointed full professor at the Mainz seminary. From 1946 until his death he was a full professor and director of the canon law seminar at the University of Mainz . He headed the Catholic theological faculty from 1954 to 1957 as dean .
