Ludwig Mülhaupt

Ludwig Mülhaupt (born July 14, 1912 in Schiltigheim / Alsace, † April 15, 1997 in Münster ) was a German economist.

Life

Mülhaupt studied economics a. a. with Rudolf Johns and Ernst Walb . In 1933 Mülhaupt became a member of the NSDAP (# 2897002) and a member of the SS , he achieved the rank of SS-Scharführer. In 1935 he completed his studies with a degree in economics. On February 18, 1938 he did his doctorate under Rudolf Johns at the University of Cologne on the subject of "The economic principles of the German municipal code and their effect on municipal accounting". Mülhaupt completed his habilitation in Kiel in 1943.

On October 1, 1956, he followed a call to the newly created chair for business administration at the University of Kiel . In the 1960 summer semester, he switched to the chair for business administration at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , specializing in business administration for banks ( banking management ). In 1980 he retired.
