Ludwig Plank
Ludwig Plank (born March 28, 1896 in Hettenkofen ; † September 30, 1983 there ) was a German CSU politician . From 1958 to 1966 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
Plank attended the elementary and advanced training school in Michaelsbuch and the agricultural winter school at Weltenburg Abbey . During the First World War he worked as a soldier and was seriously wounded in English captivity. In 1922 he took over his parents' farm. At a young age he was involved in numerous associations, including as chairman of the young farmers , the Christian farmers' association and the Bavarian People's Party . He later moved into the Michaelsbuch municipal council and took part in the development and organization of the Plattling dairy . In 1952 he took over the office of second chairman of the Lower Bavarian Zuchtverband, later he rose to the first chairman of the working group for the promotion of agriculture in the district of Deggendorf . In addition, he was district chairman of the Bavarian Farmers' Association and was a member of the Lower Bavaria district council , the district council and the district committee. From 1958 to 1966 he represented the constituency of Deggendorf-Stadt and -Land as a directly elected member of the Bavarian state parliament.
