Ludwig Pritzer (born March 19, 1911 , † December 23, 1958 ) was a German football player. He became German champion with Hannover 96 in 1938.

Pritzer played at Borussia Hannover until 1934 and then moved to local rivals Hannover 96. There he played first as a field player, usually in the left midfield or as a left winger. In his first 96 season in 1934/35 he was successful with the Lower Saxony Gaume Championship . In the final round of the German championship he was nominated as a striker and used as a half-right striker in the first game against Eimsbütteler TV (3-1). In this encounter the Hanoverian goalkeeper August Sievert was seriously injured, and coach Fuchs put Pritzer in the goal in the next games. This also played the remaining five final round matches as a goalkeeper, as second in the group, Hanover was eliminated from the final round. Since Sievert had to end his football career because of his injury, Pritzer became the new goalkeeper of the 96s.

In 1938 Hannover 96 won the Lower Saxony Gaume Championship again and won the title of German champions after two finals against Schalke 04 (3: 3 and 4: 3). A total of eight games were necessary for this success, Pritzer was in goal in all matches. In 1941 Hannover 96 won its last Gaume Championship, but did not get beyond the subgroup phase in the DM finals . Pritzer played the first three group games, but had to be replaced by the reserve goalkeeper Kellner in the last game against Schalke 04, which was decisive for the subgroup victory. The game ended in a 1: 6 defeat for Hannover.

In the following years, Pritzer could no longer adorn himself with further titles. In 1939 he too suffered a serious injury, had to take a long break and then lost his status as a regular goalkeeper. Now and then he was used again as a field player. In 1948 he reached the low point of his career when he had to relegate to the second division for a year with Hannover 96. After returning to the Oberliga Nord , Pritzer was initially only nominated as a substitute goalkeeper. After the new goalkeeper Wickel was suspended in the middle of the first half of the season for disciplinary reasons, Pritzer moved up as number one in goal. However, he could not play through the entire season because he was injured again in the spring of 1950. From 1947 to 1950 Pritzer came to 21 missions and two goals in the 1947/48 season in the Oberliga Nord. After the end of the 1949/50 season, Pritzer ended his career as a competitive athlete at Hannover 96 at the age of 39.
