Ludwig Ruhl

Ludwig Ruhl (born January 8, 1879 , † 1971 ) was a German high school teacher and classical philologist .

Ludwig Ruhl studied at the University of Giessen , where he received his doctorate in 1903 with a thesis on the history of religion . From 1904 until his retirement he worked as a teacher at the grammar school in Bensheim . From November 1, 1933, he was supervisor of the SS , and on May 1, 1937, he joined the NSDAP .

He published articles in Wilhelm Heinrich Roscher's Extensive Lexicon of Greek and Roman Mythology .
