Ludwig Sitter

Ludwig Sitter (* in Oslip in Burgenland , Austria ; † December 3, 2007 in Peru ) was an Austrian psychologist and missionary .

Life

Sitter studied psychology and went to Lima with his wife Sara in 1940 . From that time on he worked in the slums of the Peruvian capital. His main concern was the needy families. He was also employed as a psychologist at the theological faculty of the University of Lima .

In 1989 the Burgenland Croat was awarded the Archbishop Oscar Romero Prize of the Catholic Men's Movement .
