Ludwig Stark (dramaturge)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ludwig Adolf Stark (born October 23, 1851 in Mannheim , † September 1917 in Munich ) was a German dramaturge , director , actor and professor in Munich.

Life

In 1884, Stark wrote a modern version of the Meistertrunk Festival for the city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber .

Due to his references, Dinkelsbühl signed him several years later as the author of the festival Die Kinderzeche , which is performed every year in Dinkelsbühl to this day. As a result, Stark is still known regionally today. His Kinderzeche commemorates the capture of the city by the Swedes in the Thirty Years' War in 1632 . A short version of the “historical festival” was also published on a record in the 1960s. From 1897 to 1904, Stark was the festival director himself responsible for the Kinderzeche performances.

He carried the honorary title of court counselor .
