Ludwig von Hanxleden

Ludwig Karl Friedrich Ernst Hanxleden (born February 7, 1821 in Korbach ; † April 1, 1891 ibid) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Hanxleden was the son of the court president Wilhelm von Hanxleden and his wife Luise Karoline Johanne Christine nee Duncker. He attended grammar school in Korbach and studied law in Marburg , Tübingen and Heidelberg . In 1844 he passed the first and in 1849 the second state examination. He then worked as a lawyer. From 1862 to 1884 he was mayor of the city of Korbach. From 1869 to 1879 he was a police attorney and from 1879 to 1883 district attorney in Korbach.

He married Agnes Rube from Arolsen on October 15, 1852 in Wildungen . Their son Wilhelm von Hanxleden was mayor of Korbach from 1898 to 1903.
