Wilhelm von Hanxleden
Wilhelm Theodor Arnold von Hanxleden (* July 19, 1789 in the moated castle Gershausen near Braunau near Wildungen ; † November 12, 1869 on his estate in Korbach ) was a German judge and politician in the Principality of Waldeck .
Life
He came from the Westphalian nobility gender Hanxleden with its headquarters in Hanxleden and was a son of the landowner Friedrich Carl Ludwig von Hanxleden (1744-1815), lord of the manor on Gershausen and Stadtgut Korbach and founder of Korbacher line of Hanxleden, and his wife Sophie of Hoiningen gen. Huene (1754–1799), who, as her mother's heir, brought the Korbach estate into the marriage.
Hanxleden began his career after a degree in jurisprudence as a manorial court - Assessor in Korbach. In 1817 he became court judge, in 1835 president of the court, in 1849 director of the court and in 1850 president of the court.
From 1815 to 1849 he was a member of the Landtag of the Principality of Waldeck (until June 26, 1848) and then of the Landtag of the Principality of Waldeck and Pyrmont. In 1828, 1830 and 1848 he was the Landtag director.
Hanxleden was the lord of the estate in Korbach, which he inherited from his parents. He married on June 11, 1819 in Rhena near Korbach Luise Duncker (born July 26, 1799 in Korbach; † January 8, 1866 there), the daughter of the royal Waldeck court advisor Wilhelm Duncker and Luise Schott. Their son Ludwig von Hanxleden (1821-1891) was also a member of the state parliament.
