The Ludwigshöhe is with 617 m the highest point of the southern Upper Bavaria district town of Ebersberg . The hill is on the edge of the Ebersberger Forest .
The Ludwigshöhe overlooks the entire city. In good weather the view extends as far as the Alps . There is a 35-meter-high observation tower on the hill, further down there is a large excursion restaurant and the Forest and Environment Museum . There is a geodetic reference point at the museum at a height of 596.68 m .
Heldenallee leads to Ludwigshöhe , where a linden tree was planted for each Ebersberger who died in World War I.
