Lufthansa City Center is the world's largest independent franchise company in the travel agency market. The chain of owner-operated travel agencies includes 300 offices with around 2,400 employees in Germany alone. The headquarters of the Lufthansa City Center is in Frankfurt am Main .

The enterprise

The LCC Group franchise company consists of Lufthansa City Center Reisebüropartner GmbH (LCR) and, for the international business, the subsidiary Lufthansa City Center International GmbH (LCCI) . The chain comprises 570 offices worldwide with a total of 5,300 employees in around 95 countries. The franchise chain emerged from the Lufthansa city offices. In 1991, Deutsche Lufthansa AG opened the first LCC in Dresden . The first international Lufthansa City Center from Tallinn joined the network in 1992. In 1999 the international activities were merged in a newly founded Lufthansa City Center International (LCCI). The travel agencies are now represented on all continents of the world.

LCC Reisebüro Aktiengesellschaft was founded at the beginning of 2017. The aim of LCC Reisebüro AG is to secure not only their locations, but also the growth of LCC as a whole, by purchasing travel agencies. In addition to the Lufthansa City Center Reisebüropartner GmbH (LCR) franchise company, the company's shareholders are various LCC franchise partners.
