Luigi Bonelli (screenwriter)

Luigi Bonelli (born July 18, 1894 in Siena , † February 12, 1954 ibid) was an Italian screenwriter .

Life

Bonelli studied law , but turned first to journalism and then to the theater. As a dramaturge he wrote numerous plays and as a librettist operettas, some under the pseudonym Wassili Cetoff-Stenberg . In addition, he worked as a screenwriter for Italian cinema from 1932. About thirty books for u. a. Alessandro Blasetti and Guido Brignone . In 1939 he was responsible for supervising the direction of the film Il diaro di una stella . In the same year he was a member of the jury of the Venice Film Festival .
