Luigi Omodei
Luigi Omodei (born March 20, 1657 in Madrid , † August 18, 1706 in Rome ) was an Italian cardinal.
biography
Luigi Omodei was born the son of Agostino Omodei from Milan and Marchese of Almonacid in Spain and his third wife Maria Pacheco de Moura from Madrid. His father's family were a noble Milanese family who owned the margraviate of Villanova and Piovera. Cardinal Luigi Alessandro Omodei was his uncle and very important for Luigi Omodei's ecclesiastical career.
Pope Alexander VIII elevated him to cardinal deacon on February 13, 1690.
Omodei participated in the conclaves of 1691 and 1700 .
