Luigi Pennacchio (born January 1, 1933 ) is a former Italian ski jumper .

Career

Pennacchio achieved his first major success at the Italian championships in 1953, where he won the silver medal behind Aldo Trivella . He repeated this success a year later. At the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo , he jumped from the normal hill to 37th place. In 1958 he won his first and only Italian championship before Nilo Zandanel and Dino De Zordo . A year later he won silver. At the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley , he again reached 39th place on the normal hill. In the same year he won bronze at the Italian championships. His successful career ended in 1963 with the same result.
