Luigi Romersa

Luigi Romersa (also known as Gigi Romersa ; born July 5, 1917 in Boretto , † March 19, 2007 in Rome ) was an Italian journalist and author.

After completing his law degree in Parma, Romersa started as a journalist for the Gazzetta di Parma . Times at Corriere della Sera and Il Messaggero followed . At the invitation of Benito Mussolini , Romersa was a guest on Rügen in October 1944 , where Hitler (according to Romersa's memories) wanted to present a new type of secret weapon.

After the Second World War, Romersa managed to get a job , alongside contributions for Il resto del Carlino in Bologna, for the weekly magazine Tempo in Milan , for which he traveled around the world and attended numerous important events in the following decades (from stays in the 1950s in Congo and the beginning of the Suez crisis in Port Said to the six-day war and the oil crisis ).

Romersa published several books and in 1960 shot the documentary Avventura al Polo Sud with Giuliano Tomei, which was shown in the cinema .
