Luis Fernando López

Luis Fernando López ( Luis Fernando López Erazo ; born June 3, 1979 in Pasto ) is a Colombian walker who is successful in the 20 km distance .

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he came in 24th place. The following year he won bronze at the South American Athletics Championships in Cali and was twelfth at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki .

In 2006 he won gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games , and in 2007 he finished 22nd at the World Championships in Osaka .

A ninth place at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing was followed in 2009 by winning the title at the South American Athletics Championships in Lima and fifth at the World Championships in Berlin .

In 2010 he won silver at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayagüez , and in 2011 bronze at the World Championships in Daegu .
