Luis José Hernández (born April 27, 1996 in Madrid ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been playing for Majadahonda HC since the beginning of his career . Since 2013 he has been playing for the team from the Madrid area in the Superliga , the top division in Spain.

Career

Luis José Hernández began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of Majadahonda HC . In 2012 he played for the first time in the club's second team, with which he won the 1ª División de Hockey Hielo, the second Spanish league, in 2015. In the 2013/14 season he made his debut in the Superliga , the highest Spanish division. After he also played for the Brantford Steelfights in the Canadian Greater Metro Hockey League in 2015/16, he has been active exclusively for the first team of the Majadahonda HC since 2016.

International

For Spain, Hernández took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in 2013 and 2014 and the U20 World Championships in 2015 and 2016 in Division II.

In the senior sector, he made his debut for Spain at the 2018 World Cup , when he was promoted from the B to the A group of Division II with the Iberians.
