Luisa Wöllisch (born 1996 in Munich ) is a German film actress .

Life

Wöllisch grew up in Tutzing and has lived with Down syndrome , a genetic defect that brings mental and physical limitations with it, since she was born .

As a child she was active in the nativity scene in her community and now plays as a permanent member of the ensemble at the Free Stage in Munich . In her first leading role in a German movie, she played Franzi Maier , who was affected by Down syndrome, in the film comedy Die Goldfische (2019). She won the casting by rehearsing the song breathless through the night of the German pop singer Helene Fischer and creating her own dance for it.

She is the only actress in the film who also has a disability in real life.

Already in 2017 she played a supporting role in a movie, the German crime comedy Grießnockerlaffäre .
