The Luisenburg was a pleasure palace near Blankenburg in the Harz district ( Saxony-Anhalt ) that existed from 1728 to 1945 .

The small castle was commissioned by Duke Ludwig Rudolf von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel for his wife Christine Luise von Oettingen-Oettingen, built in 1728 and named after her on the Calvinusberg ( 352.4  m above sea  level ) south above Blankenburg Castle . It was a single-storey half-timbered building with an octagonal hall, which was surrounded by eight small rooms. The building was demolished in 1945 because it was in disrepair. Today, the remains of the outer walls and the staircases give an idea of the building's former appearance.

The Luisenburg ruin is included as No. 77 in the system of stamping points of the Harz hiking nobility. The stamp box hangs on the site of the former Luisenburg at a covered rest area.
