Lukas Di Nunzio

Lukas Di Nunzio (born August 14, 1966 in Wuppertal ) is a German songwriter and producer of Christian worship music and New Spiritual Songs (NGL).

Live and act

Di Nunzio first received recorder and guitar lessons from Ulrich Pletsch in Gelsenkirchen . This was followed by piano lessons and lessons on the church organ with A-Cantor Hanns Bierbrodt. In mid-1991 Di Nunzio moved to Mosbach in Baden and worked there full-time for 7 years in the Christian plant Operation Mobilization , including as musical director. This was followed by a degree in sound engineering at SAE in Frankfurt am Main .

In 1995 he put together a songbook with approx. 250 songs, which was published by Hänssler Verlag with the title Celebrate Jesus! appeared. To make learning the songs easier, a double CD was released at the same time under this name. The initial circulation of the songbook was 40,000 copies. Since then a new CD has been released every year. The CDs “Celebrate Jesus!” No. 2 to 7 were accompanied by the producer Albert Frey . The other productions were then continued by Frey and Alexander Lucas, who had already worked as choir director in several productions.

For Bibel TV Di Nunzio produced the season of "Sing! Dein Lied ”together with Günter Hänssler and Sammy Wintersohl. With Profil Medien and Agape Records , Di Nunzio is currently producing the new CD series “Sing! Your song".

Di Nunzio's songs have appeared on numerous recordings, and he has published a total of 50 songs. The solo album "Holy Moments" was released in 2010. His songs also appeared for the first time in the appendix to the hymn book of the Evangelical Church in Baden and in 2018 also in the TV service of the ZDF .

In the hymn book Where we praise you, new songs grow - plus , which is published by Strube-Verlag for the Protestant churches in Baden, Württemberg, Palatinate and the Églises Réformée et Luthérienne d'Alsace et de Lorraine, is Lukas Di Nunzio with two titles represented.

Di Nunzio has been managing director of the Christian licensing agency Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) since 2015, where he has been responsible for Europe since 2018. Di Nunzio is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Domino Foundation .
