Albert Frey (musician)
Albert Frey (born May 29, 1964 near Ravensburg ) is a German singer , songwriter and music producer of Christian pop music , especially worship music .
Career
As the son of a music teacher and church musician, Frey received musical training at an early age. At the age of seven he began to learn the recorder and piano , later followed by the clarinet and guitar , with which he played in school bands. He came to his Christian faith in the early 1980s while doing a charismatic Catholic youth work in Ravensburg . Shortly afterwards he joined the Christian rock band Effata .
He completed the early 1990s, his studies as a graduate - sound engineer , and made off with its own recording studio independently. Since 1989 Albert Frey has been involved in his self-founded Immanuel worship workshop in Ravensburg as a composer, producer and worship leader in the Christian music scene. Since the mid-1990s he has worked as a producer for the CD and songbook series celebrates Jesus! responsible. He has published more than 120 compositions and has contributed to over 50 CD productions. Frey also produces CDs for other artists, for example Conny Reusch , Andreas Volz or Christoph Zehendner .
Frey has been married to the singer Andrea Adams-Frey since 2001 and works as a speaker and author for the Christian magazine “Aufatmen”. The couple live in Wüstenrot . In 2009 he started, together with his wife, the pastoral care congress “First Love”, which will be continued in 2011 under the title “Alive”.
In March 2011 Albert Frey received the Impala Silver Award for his productions For the King , Anchor in the Time and Land of Tranquility, due to the sale of 20,000 units each.
