Andrea Adams-Frey
Andrea Adams-Frey (* 1966 as Andrea Adams ) is a German singer of Christian pop and worship music .
Life
Adams initially worked in the secular music industry and worked with Xavier Naidoo in the musical Human Pacific in Mannheim. She later became addicted to drugs and alcohol. When she attended the first international broadcast evangelism in the ProChrist series of events in 1993 , then with Billy Graham , she was converted to the Christian faith. Then she retired from the music business, began addiction therapy and later worked as a beautician.
Her first notable appearance after a long break finally took place at the ProChrist event in Bremen in 2000, where she performed her first songs. From then on she worked exclusively within the Christian music scene.
In 2001 she married the worship leader Albert Frey . In the same year, she released her first solo album, From the Depth , the content of which reflects her life in pop songs, worship music and a chorale . Her second work was released in 2004 as the purple album . Both albums were produced by her husband Albert Frey and published by Gerth Medien . In 2006 Andrea Adams-Frey and Albert Frey presented their first collaboration album, Land der Ruhe . The concept has now been followed by First Love (2008) and In the Name of the Father (2012). In 2009 the collaborative instrumental album Klang der Stille was released in collaboration with artists such as Florian Sitzmann , Lothar Kosse and Luca Genta , which presents the songs of Land der Ruhe in meditative instrumental arrangements and vocal interludes by Andrea Adams-Frey. In 2011 Andrea Adams-Frey's third solo work Lebendig was released, initially in a limited edition, as a double album with her husband's solo album Urklang , later as a single CD.
In 2006 Andrea Adams-Frey performed again at ProChrist together with her husband . The musician couple also work together on projects like Celebrate Jesus! .
