Lukas Kister (born August 28, 1998 in Dortmund ) is a German handball player .

career

Kister started at ASC 09 Dortmund , played with Ahlener SG until the B-youth and moved to GWD Minden in 2014 . There he played in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga and for the second team in the 3rd division . From the 2017/18 season he had a professional contract for the Bundesliga team, for which he made his debut as a youth player on May 28, 2016 at TV 1893 Neuhausen in the 2nd Bundesliga . He has been playing for third division VfL Eintracht Hagen since the 2019/20 season .

Kister has been a junior national player since 2016 and reached 3rd place with the German national team at the U-18 European Championship in the same year. In 2018 he was able to repeat the success at the U-20 European Championship .
