Lukas Meschik

Lukas Meschik (* 1988 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

Meschik made his debut in 2009 at Luftschacht-Verlag with the novel Jetzt die Sirenen . The reviewer of the time compared the work with Steffen Popp as another young author, who "despite virtuosity and language play does not lose warmth". In March 2010 the book of stories was published , also by Luftschacht-Verlag. Meschik switched to the Jung und Jung publishing house in 2011 . In February 2012 he presented the 500-page novel Luzidin or Die Stille . In autumn 2013 Meschik was the Kitzbühel town clerk . In 2019 he was invited to the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition by Stefan Gmünder .

Lukas Meschik lives in Vienna.
